About Sinful Bachelor
Sinful Bachelor is an intense spicy-woody eau de parfum for men, inspired by Man in Black by Bvlgari. It smells expensive in a way that has nothing to do with freshness.
It opens on rum, and the rum is convincing: boozy, dark and sweet, with cardamom and cinnamon spicing it immediately so the sweetness never becomes a cocktail. The effect is like walking past a bar in winter with the door open.
The heart is unusual for a men's fragrance and it is the making of this one. Tuberose is creamy, heady and unmistakably floral, iris adds a cool powdery texture that tempers it, and leather cuts through both with something dry and tanned. Most men will never identify tuberose as the note they are enjoying, but it is what gives this fragrance its luxurious, almost velvet quality.
The base is pure warmth. Benzoin and tonka bean build a resinous, vanilla-adjacent sweetness, guaiac wood adds a thread of smoke, and amber glows underneath it all for hours. It wears close after the first ninety minutes and lasts well into the night. This is a date fragrance, a winter fragrance and an evening fragrance, and it works best on skin that has just been warmed by a shower. Two sprays. It is not shy. Give the rum ten minutes to burn off before you judge it, because the tuberose and leather underneath are the real reason to wear this one.

If you love Man in Black by Bvlgari, Sinful Bachelor shares its DNA in the boozy rum opening, the leather and iris heart, and the rich benzoin and tonka base that gives the original its warm, velvety weight.
The differences lie in the florals. Our tuberose is more prominent, which makes the middle creamier and slightly sweeter than the original's drier, more tobacco-leaning heart. Our guaiac wood also adds a light smokiness that the original does not emphasise. Both wear close after the first two hours and both last comfortably through an evening, with good longevity on skin and excellent longevity on fabric. Sinful Bachelor is inspired by that fragrance and has a similar character, but it is our own composition rather than a reproduction of it.

When to wear it
Winter nights, without hesitation. Cold air suits the rum, amber and leather, and warm weather makes them heavy. It belongs at dinners, on dates and at anything with candles on the table. Two sprays on the chest, applied straight after a warm shower so the resins bloom. The 50ml at R120 is the right size for an occasion fragrance you will treasure rather than exhaust.

How long does it last?
Eight hours or more on skin, and considerably longer on clothing. The benzoin and tonka base is very tenacious, so an evening application is often still present at breakfast.
Is it suitable for daytime wear?
