About Into The Water
Into The Water is a sweet fruity-gourmand eau de parfum for women, inspired by 212 VIP by Carolina Herrera. It is built from very few notes and it knows exactly what it wants to be.
Passion fruit opens it, tart and tropical and immediately recognisable, with a rum accord underneath that adds a boozy, caramelised warmth. The two together smell like a cocktail at sunset: sweet, a little sharp, and entirely committed to a good evening.
The heart is soft and short. Gardenia adds a creamy white floral roundness that takes the edge off the fruit, and musk begins the transition almost immediately, giving the middle a clean, skin-like quality that stops the sweetness from becoming syrupy.
The base is where it stays for hours. Tonka bean and vanilla build a warm, sugary, comfortable finish, the kind that lingers on a jacket and on the person standing next to you. It is simple and it is effective, and simplicity is precisely why it works so well in a crowd.

Ours pushes the fruit a little harder. The passion fruit stays tart for longer, which keeps the first hour livelier, while the original moves into its vanilla base sooner. Our gardenia is also slightly creamier through the middle. Both project well in a crowded room and last around seven hours, with the vanilla holding on longest. Into The Water is inspired by that fragrance and has a similar character, but it is our own composition rather than a reproduction of it.
