Five Petals is a crisp floral eau de parfum for women, inspired by White Linen by Estée Lauder. It smells like a clean, sunlit room with the windows open and flowers on the table.
Mandarin and bergamot start it with a clean citrus lift, and peach and lychee arrive almost immediately, adding a juicy, slightly powdery sweetness. Lychee is the clever note here: it gives a soft, rosy, almost floral fruitiness that makes the opening feel gentle rather than sharp.
The heart is a white bouquet done with restraint. Jasmine provides depth, muguet is dewy and green, and madonna lily brings a cool, waxy elegance that keeps everything upright. There is nothing heady or overwhelming about it; the flowers feel freshly cut rather than heavily perfumed.
The base is soft and warm. Vanilla and amber give a gentle sweetness, musk adds that clean-laundry quality, and a trace of vetiver and plum keeps a little depth underneath so it does not disappear entirely.
This is a daytime fragrance for spring and summer, ideal for work, lunches, family occasions and warm mornings. It is also a good choice for anyone who wants a fragrance that reads as well-groomed rather than perfumed. Three or four sprays; it wears politely and sits close to the skin after the first hour. It also layers beautifully over a plain cotton-scented body lotion, which keeps the lilies in place through a long, warm afternoon.
If you love White Linen by Estée Lauder, Five Petals belongs to the same family. Both are clean, sunny florals built on a crisp citrus opening, a white floral heart of jasmine and lily, and a soft musk and amber base that smells like freshly pressed cotton.
Ours brings more fruit. The peach and lychee are noticeably juicier in the opening, giving a softer and slightly sweeter start than the original's more aldehydic, soapy beginning. Our base is a touch warmer thanks to the vanilla. Longevity sits around six hours with modest projection, keeping it comfortable for close quarters. Five Petals is inspired by that classic and has a similar character, but it is an original composition rather than a reproduction of it.

Spring and summer daylight suits it best, when its crispness feels refreshing. Wear it to work, weekday lunches, church and daytime celebrations, and in offices where heavier fragrances would be unwelcome. Three or four sprays, applied to the wrists and the back of the neck. The 50ml at R120 is the practical size for a fragrance in regular weekday rotation.
It shares the same clean white floral character and soft musky finish that made White Linen by Estée Lauder a classic. Ours is an original composition inspired by that fragrance, not a reproduction, and it is fruitier at the start.
Yes. It is one of the most workplace-appropriate fragrances we stock, reading as tidy and fresh rather than perfumed, and it stays close to the wearer.
Well. The citrus and white florals stay crisp in warm weather, though they burn off a little faster, so a second application in the afternoon is worth considering.
Anyone who prefers clean, elegant fragrances to sweet or heavy ones. It is a reliable choice for a first perfume and equally at home on someone who has worn florals for years.
