About Sofia
Sofia is a radiant floral oriental eau de parfum for women, inspired by Le Parfum by Elie Saab. It is named for the second half of our brand, and it is the fragrance we think of as pure sunlight.
Orange blossom carries the entire opening, and it is magnificent on its own. Bright, honeyed, faintly green and slightly soapy, it is a note that smells of warmth and white petals, and here it is given the space to be the whole story rather than a supporting player.
The heart adds depth without dimming the light. Jasmine brings a creamy, heady richness that deepens the blossom, and patchouli slips in underneath, earthy and dark, providing contrast so the brightness has something to push against.
The base is warm and golden. Cedarwood gives a dry, pencil-shaving structure, and rose honey creates a soft, sticky sweetness that clings to the skin for hours. The finish smells like skin that has been in the sun all afternoon, which is a lovely thing for a perfume to achieve.
Wear it in spring and summer, by day or into an evening, to weddings, lunches, holidays and anywhere with light and people. Three sprays. It is one of our most flattering fragrances on almost anyone, and it is a particularly good choice for a bride or a summer celebration.

If you love Le Parfum by Elie Saab, Sofia shares its DNA in the enormous orange blossom opening, the creamy jasmine heart and the warm honeyed woody base that gives the original its sunlit, radiant character.
Ours is a touch earthier. The patchouli is more noticeable through the middle, which gives our version a little more shadow, and our rose honey makes the dry-down slightly sweeter than the original's cleaner, more woody finish. Both project well in the first hours and last around seven to eight hours on skin. Sofia is an original composition inspired by that fragrance rather than a reproduction of it, and the honeyed base is where it makes its own mark.

When to wear it
Spring and summer are its natural home, in daylight and into a warm evening. It is beautiful at weddings, lunches, garden gatherings and on holiday, and it suits a bride particularly well. Three sprays at the throat, wrists and hair, where orange blossom lasts longest. The 100ml at R200 is the value choice for a fragrance you will wear all summer.

Is it suitable for a wedding?
It is a good choice for a bridal fragrance. It is bright, romantic and photographs well, so to speak, lasting through a long day of ceremony and celebration.
Can it be worn in cooler weather?
It can, though it truly comes alive in warmth. In winter it feels a little thinner, so apply it over a rich body lotion to give the honey and cedar something to hold.
How does it differ from our other white floral fragrances?
It is sunnier and sweeter. Where our cooler white florals stay crisp and green, Sofia is warm, honeyed and golden from the opening right through to the finish.
